The business is large and stable with a few major players. The market is flat to low single digit growth and limited ways to deliver results.
The Solution
We blended our knowledge of clinical nutrition with our experience in customer utilization to devise and execute a plan focused on driving growth.
We identified the top customer segments who had value in it for them to convert, put in place incentives and developed a roadmap to conversion. We also designed a sales compensation plan aligned with the key milestones in the roadmap.
Our hands on approach allowed us to hear customer concerns and develop speedy responses to any problems that arose. Additionally, we measured steps in the conversion process to quickly gauge customer acceptance of the program. At the end of the day, we were able to drive millions of dollars of growth and shareholder return to a mature business that had appeared to plateau.
