The Challenge

A leading pharmaceutical business was seeking additional vehicles to drive growth and deliver commitments to shareholders.


There were a number of gaps in the pharmaceutical portfolio lending to a competitive disadvantage for key customer contracts and business growth was hindered.

The Solution

Working collaborativly, we identified viable pharma targets with favorable cost positions and strong product offerings and pipelines. Comprehensive analysis was completed to validate the targets, confirm market/customer acceptance and the associated growth potential. 


Further work was conducted to confirm synergies and key investments. Upon integration, we led the commercial strategy development to include: contracting, pricing, sales and marketing - and we developed a “playbook” to guide the teams and ensure full alignment.


Additionally we developed key metrics to measure the results and course correct real time where applicable. Ultimately, we were also able to increase sales of the businesses' legacy portfolio due to an integrated value proposition and growth strategy. Synergies were realized and growth exceeded post integration targets.
